Justin Timberlake will be treating fans to the full 20/20 Experience when he returns to Britain for a free intimate gig.
Following his barnstorming performance at the Brits in February, the 32-year-old has signed up to headline the iTunes Festival in September.
Timberlake is using the show to ignite a full scale return to music following seven years away. He revealed he will release another new album – a follow-up to the 20/20 Experience – in the same month as the gig before taking off on a world tour.
Timberlake admitted he had turned all mushy with his tunes since marrying Total Recall actress Jessica Biel.
His recent hit Mirrors was written about the 31-year-old, he said. ‘One of the most valuable things in a relationship is being able to constantly change and be individual, but look to the other side to the person that you’re with and know that they’re changing as well individually, but somehow you two can mirror each other and be the other half of that world that you both create,’ he added.
Timberlake leads a beefy line-up for the festival, which is held throughout September.
Jessie J will also be urging fans to forget about the price tag when she plays on September 23.
And it is not all pop as Primal Scream, Queens Of The Stone Age and 30 Seconds To Mars will be providing plenty of opportunity for fans to work up a sweat and rock out.
Primal Scream’s Bobbie Gillespie promised: ‘We’re gonna levitate the Roundhouse, turn it into a flying saucer and blast off.’
Other acts just announced for the 30 nights of music include Jake Bugg, Jack Johnson and Phoenix.
Music fans will be able to win tickets to Timberlake’s set and the rest of gig through Metro later this summer.
